Paul Tynan is a natural connector of businesses and people, Paul works passionately to make things happen for his clients drawing on over 35 years of experience working within the Financial Service Industry in Australia and internationally.
Paul is the founder and principal of Connect Financial Service Brokers a leading M&A specialist consultancy that assists financial planners, accountants, lawyers and brokers to achieve their sales, acquisition or merger objectives.
He began his career at AMP working in a variety of sales and agency management focussed areas cutting his teeth on a broad range of sales, marketing and strategy focussed assignments and projects in Australia and the UK.
Paul is a tireless advocate for reform and improvements to the advice sector of the financial services industry and the paramount need to always put the consumer first if long lasting outcomes are to be achieved.
Paul also speaks and writes frequently on M&A and strategy issues and his insights and perspectives are well received and acknowledged by the media, practitioners and industry.
Each day, Paul draws on his reservoir of first-hand knowledge, analytical skills and strategic insights to help practice owners achieve certainty and success around vital business decisions. He approaches each assignment pragmatically and open-mindedly, and excels in understanding challenges. In response to international demand for his services, Paul established Connect ASEAN, a specialist business consultancy dedicated to connecting small and medium business owners on a B2B level to commercial, investment, M&A, JV and partnership opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

Vince has more than 25 years experience within the Financial Services Industry. Previous to this Vince spent 18 years as a Civil Engineer, part of which involved running his own consultancy.
He initially joined the RetireInvest network as an Adviser, after which he moved into the RetireInvest franchise network. During his 14 years as a proprietor, Vince was the Chairman of the Proprietor’s Advisory Council (PAC) and was very active in developing the Franchise Agreement between the network and RetireInvest.
Vince co-owned 3 RetireInvest offices and an independent financial planning business (with its own licence) during this time, which were all sold, giving him an excellent insight into the process of both buying and selling a Financial Planning business.
Vince has high level experience in managing and understanding the day to day activities of a Financial Planning practice, and is very focused on creating and establishing procedures and practices to grow a business.
